Call for Proposals for International Science Education Day at NSTA
NSTA has decreed Thursday, March 27, 2008 as “International Science Education Day” at the NSTA National Conference on Science Education in Boston, March 27-30, 2008. On this date, we will hold a “conference within a conference” with the theme of: “The Many Faces of Scientific Inquiry: A Global Perspective on Classroom Applications (K-16).” We invite you to submit a proposal to present a paper or poster at this international event. The deadline for submitting proposals is October 26, 2007.
The International Conference will be open to all registered attendees of the NSTA National Conference. Numerous opportunities for international visitors to network together and to interact with science educators from various cultures, including those from North America have been scheduled.
