<Abstract>

The purpose of this study was to arrange science education policies for the elementary and secondary schools systematically after the establishment of our goverment and to add new meanings to those polices as historical sources in the social, economic and educational background. It was also the purpose of this study to present right directions to science education policies by searching for what the science education policies purse consistently and continually and to contribute to establishing consistent science education policies.
