This study will introduce technologies for making useful measurements in physics education using LabVIEW-based instrumentation. We will use the LabVIEW programming system, which finds wide application in physics (and other science) labs. The teacher information includes completion of a physics experimental project which utilizes the techniques developed in the study and a brief overview of other approaches to data acquisition and experiment control will be provided at the end of this study; for exmaples, NI-DAQ data acquisition, User-defined MBL system using microprocessor programming.
